The Middletown Select Soccer Club is happy to invite you to come and spend the weekend with us at the SPRING BLAST TOURNAMENT. The tournament will be held at Smith Park and AK Steel Soccer fields at Jacot Park in Middletown Ohio, Middletown High School and Franklin Community Park in Franklin. Smith park has been home to many tournaments: including the Franchise, State SAY and High School Tournaments.

The tournament will offer competition for boys and girls in the U-8 through U-19 brackets. All teams must be in good standing with the United States Soccer Association and only players with valid player passes will be eligible to play. A maximum of 12 players per roster of U8-U9, U10 6v6 division and 14 players,
U11-U12 8v8 division. A maximum of 18 players per roster will be allowed for U13-U18 11v11. Four (4) guest players will be allowed. No player may play on nor be registered on more than one participating team. Spring Blast Tournament Committee reserves the right of acceptance, denial or placement of any team.

The entry fee is $400.00 for U8-U10, $425.00 for U11-U18/19 age groups.and should be mailed along with the enclosed application form to the address listed below by March 1, 2010. Teams not accepted will have their application fee returned in their notification letter. No entry fee will be returned to those teams accepted into the tournament. Notifications will be emailed and posted on the web site by March 7.

We are very proud of the Soccer facilities at Smith and Jacot Park in Middletown. Both parks offer ample parking, playgrounds, walking trails around the park, refreshment areas and with a total 26 fields for your soccer enjoyment. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping close to both parks. We are also going to be playing games at Middletown High School and Franklin Park. The tournament is set up on a three game format. Individual and team trophies will be awarded for first and second place teams in each division.

Team registration will be held at the Kingdom Sports Center in Franklin, Ohio on Friday prior to the tournament from 6 pm 9 pm. We hope you'll want to start your spring season by playing in the Spring Blast.
